LR Skate

Originating in Brisbane as ‘Little Rookies Sport’, LR Skate launched as a pop-up store in the Paradise Centre (Surfers Paradise) for a 3-month trial run. This expansion was aiming to capitalise on the roller skating revival which has taken the USA by storm during the COVID-19 lockdown period and has since made its way down to Australia.

Finding Yellow Co was on a mission to get the word out about LR Skate in a cost and time-efficient manner. Reaching out to a wide range of our Gold Coast-based skating fanatics, Finding Yellow Co set up a showcase by the beach. With local news coverage (featuring one very brave reporter who also strapped on the skates), LR Skate made its mark on the Gold Coast community and is now here to stay!
